March was a busy month for weddings and makeup trials; Venues included The Boutique Hotel in Southwell for the gorgeous Emily- It was great to be back there again as it is such a stunning venue and always great to see Susanna who owns it. I did makeup for lovely bride Debs & co who was got married at Swancar farm which is quite a new venue which I love just outside Nottingham. I hosted my first Bridal Makeup Masterclass Class in which I did a demo in a classic bridal look and shared all my tips and techniques for creating it. Getting them to recreate the look on the models (friends sister and nices!) afterwords. It was great to share all our products, knowledge and ideas also to talk about ways to make it as a makeup artist! It was a lot of fun and I will be doing another one again soon.

I was kindly invited by Emma Robens to attend their wedding open day as an exhibitor at East bridgford Hill and it was superb- quite informal with a wonderful selection of suppliers; Angela Vickers who makes the most beautiful wedding dresses, Photographers Paul Dale and Emma Cleveley, Nigel Lymn Rose who has of the largest fleet of Luxury cars to hire! Karen from Darby and Joan, and also the wonderful Sean Supernak (Your private chef) and his somelier Peet Alessi to name a few. It was a beautiful sunny day which showcased the house perfectly- guests were treated to champagne and vintage teas, cakes and canapes-classic music and private tours!...

Fabulous to be featured in Save the date magazine – with Makeup for lovely bride Emma Fisher in December beautifully captured by local photographer Pete Henderson. Makeup was slightly smokey eyes in a grey brown (Satin taupe) by MAC and a gorgeous deep pink on the lips in Plumfull. Dress was by Sassi Holford from The Little White Dress on Trent Bridge.  

I had the pleasure of working with more Olympic athletes ; Martyn Rooney (400m runner) and Kate Dennison (pole vaulter) on a pre Christmas shoot in Birmingham with beautiful photgrapher Helen Roscoe who just sent me these images. Martyn inspired us with  stories of his incredible athelete friend Oscar Pistorius who he was invited to train with in SA this winter.
